OSLO DAY 1: Blue Skies, Birds, and Babies

**question of the day is very important, please answer it if you can!!

The text to this post apparently got deleted, so I will try to remember what I wrote:

Yesterday I left my friend N in CPH (she is pictured above looking cool), and I came to Oslo by train. Sadly, this train did not go into a ship (to my knowledge). On the way, I stopped in Götenborg where I met a beautiful baby boy named Love. He was staring at me as I was eating my sandwich at the station, and whenever I looked up, he grinned widely. His mother, Sarah, allowed me to take a picture of him. After hours of sitting on a train, baby Love made my day. :)

The first thing I noticed when I arrived in Oslo were the birds. It seemed that there were more birds flying around than there were people. The second thing I noticed was the height of the people around me. They were enormous. At 5'6, I'm typically above average for women, but definitely not in Norway. The people here must eat their vegetables.

After walking around and admiring the big blue sky, I dropped off my stuff at my hostel and got dinner at a cute Thai place. At the table next to me, there was another adorable baby staring at me (the second one pictured above). This baby, named Findley, was so adorably cute. He did not take his eyes off of me throughout the meal and would mirror my movements. We danced together to "Material Girl" and other restaurant classics.

After a tearful goodbye, I left the restaurant and planned to walk to the opera house. Sadly, I got lost on the way and had to eventually return to my hostel for the night. Tomorrow I am going on an Island-hopping nature tour. Excited to explore and hoping the skies stay closed.

*QUESTION OF THE DAY:

I just realized that 6 out of 7 continents start and end with the letter A. Why is that? Is it a coincidence? Were they all competing to be listed first on alphabetical lists of continents? Why is Europe singled out? Please respond to this question if you have an answer. I'm so curious.
